Foodie Lecture

Chef Cherise will share the love and knowledge of food in a one hour, interactive presentation perfect for corporate and community groups. (No kitchen needed!) Current subjects include Bread Baking 101, Make Ahead Pastries, Italian Basics, Garden Appetizers, Whole Foods, Cooking for a Crowd, and Cake Decorating. Looking for an original employee perk? Bread Session

Chef will guide you through the twelve steps of yeast bread production and give you tips and tricks to make bread baking your new favorite hobby. Bake in your own kitchen, using your own favorite baking tools, with professional instruction from a certified pastry chef. Italian Batard and Artisan Wheat Bread are on the menu! Class is approximately two hours. A great family activity; fun, educational, and lots of delicious bread! Please email me if you would like to set a date!

Private Demo

Chef will join you in your home for a 1 hour cooking demonstration complete with the perfect blend of cooking, instruction, and chef tips. You will get plenty of tasty samples, plus recipes to repeat your favorites at home. A demo usually consists of an appetizer, a side dish, and a dessert. However if you prefer to mix it up a bit, that’s okay too. Chef will work with you to create the perfect menu for your crowd. A popular Bridal Shower event! Email me for more information.

Chef Cherise Slattery believes great cooking comes from simple, fresh ingredients combined with correct technique. Chef Cherise also believes that a great meal comes from what food brings to the table – companionship. Growing up in a family where the table was the heart of the home, she loved spending her days in the kitchen with her mother and grandmother, discovering their vast collection of family recipes. Today Chef Cherise enjoys creating original recipes, teaching hands-on cooking classes, providing the local community with her line of all natural pastries, and sharing her passion for food and family.
